Terms of use

These terms are between you — the business using Connec8 Desk — and M/S Connec8. Using the product means you accept them.

A monthly plan with a set number of conversations included, plus ₹399a month for each phone number we rent on your behalf. Conversations beyond your allowance are billed at your plan's rate. Billing is monthly in advance; overages are billed in arrears.

There is no contract and no setup fee. Cancel any time and your plan runs to the end of the month you've paid for. We don't refund part-months.

Indian regulations require the business renting a number to be verified. You'll need to give us accurate business documents, and we can't activate a number until the operator approves them. If your account closes, the number returns to the operator and cannot be recovered — so if you advertise it anywhere, tell us before you leave.

• That the information you give your receptionist — prices, hours, policies — is accurate. It repeats what you typed.
• Complying with the law where you operate, including telling callers that calls are recorded if you're required to.
• Not using the product for spam, fraud, or automated outbound calling campaigns.
• Keeping your team's logins secure and removing people who leave.

We'll do our best to keep the service running, but we don't guarantee it will never be unavailable. Phone networks, cloud providers and power all fail sometimes.

Your receptionist is software. It can misunderstand a caller, mishear a name, or fail to handle a conversation it wasn't set up for — which is why it hands over to a human when it's unsure. It is not a substitute for your judgement, and it should not be the only way a customer can reach you.

We are not liable for business you lose, decisions a caller makes, or anything said on a call beyond refunding what you paid us in the month concerned.

Your leads, transcripts and recordings are yours. We won't sell them, share them with other customers, or use them to train models. See the privacy page for the detail.

If we change these terms or our prices we'll tell you at least 30 days before it affects you. If something goes wrong, talk to us first— nearly everything is fixable that way. These terms are governed by Indian law.
